m3 is an independent property advisory firm that specialises in valuations and specialist advisory services for the property industry. m3 uses extensive research capabilities and market knowledge to respond to and exceed all its client needs.

The group was established in 1978. Over the ensuing years it has developed and diversified to meet its clients’ needs. In 2002 the company’s Directors decided to change the name to better reflect the forward and strategic thinking of the company.

The m3 brand was launched in June 2002. The name is derived from ‘metres squared’ being a property measurement abbreviated to m². However, as the business looks beyond the obvious linear plane in search for additional value for its clients, m3 (metres cubed) was settled on – providing an extra dimension to property services. The Sydney office was opened in July 2002. Brisbane followed in 2007, with an office opening in Adelaide in 2012. Currently, m3 staff are working across all states of Australia, as well as South East Asia.
