We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Specialised Uses Valuer to join our team in Brisbane.  In this role, you will work alongside the Queensland Managing Director.  Candidates must hold current Associate Membership of the Australian Property Institute (AAPI) with CPV status, current Certificate of Compliance and current Risk Management Module Certificate.

The successful candidates will need to demonstrate the following:

  • Qualified with a minimum of one years’ experience in special use valuations;
  • High degree of self-motivation and an ability to work within timeframes;
  • Strong communication and writing skills;
  • Be well presented and have an outstanding record of client service delivery;
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen; and
  • High regard and attention to detail.

  • General office administration tasks;
  • Booking and scheduling travel;

  • Providing assistance with preparation of reports and presentations.

As Director of Research in Melbourne you will also be required to become the public face of research for the group including public presentations, market commentary, and media liaison and publication co-ordination.

  • Experience in detailed research, forecasting and reporting on various market sectors;
  • Tertiary qualified with background in commerce, economics, finance or property;

Assistant Valuer/Analyst Retail

Primary Objectives

m3property are seeking applicants for an Assistant Valuer/Analyst position suitable for a post graduate or Assistant Valuer with 1 – 2 years’ experience. You will join our expanding specialist National Retail Valuations team, based in our Sydney office.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside our National Director based in Sydney and our wider national retail team within our interstate offices. You will contribute to providing expert valuation and advice to our Institutional, Financiers and Private Clients throughout Australia.

This position requires an individual with strong numerical and analysis skills, a thorough understanding of valuation fundamentals, enthusiasm to learn and join a team who is recognised as industry leaders within their specialised field.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Attend property inspections and client meetings – Including interstate travel;
  • Undertake on-line title and town planning searches;
  • Review and summarise lease documentation;
  • Research and analyse sales transactions;
  • Liaise with sales and leasing agents and collection of Investment Memorandums;
  • Maintain sales and rental database;
  • Undertake financial analysis and cash flow modelling;
  • Compilation of valuation reports and client presentations; and
  • Providing support to other team members in servicing client requirements as required

Core Competencies

Competencies specific to this role include:

  • Basic understanding of statutory and planning provisions relating to valuation;
  • Strong communication and writing skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • A willingness to learn and follow instructions;
  • Ability to work independently or within a team;
  • High degree of self-motivation and an ability to work within timeframes;
  • Ability to multi task;
  • Possess an ability to make informed decisions;
  • High customer service focus; and
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Qualifications and Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in Valuation – post graduate level;
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred);
  • Previous valuation or agency experience is desirable but not essential; and
  • Academic transcript that demonstrates strong results within core Valuation subjects.
