These properties include standard distribution centres, hi-tech industrial buildings, industrial development sites as well as specialised asset types including manufacturing production buildings (e.g. food production facilities), intermodal terminals and marine facilities.

Our clients include institutional investors such as funds managers (both local and offshore), financiers, corporations (both private and public), insolvency practitioners, private investors and the government sector. Our industrial valuations team is represented on the panels of all major institutions, fund managers and financiers.

Gary has over thirty years experience in valuation assignments in respect of commercial and industrial properties.

Basil is registered to practice as a valuer within Queensland and is listed as a specialist retail valuer under the Retail Shop Leases Act.

Basil has in excess of 15 years experience, of which 10 years have been in Australia providing valuations and advice on a diverse range of real estate assets and specialised properties.  Prior to Australia, Basil was practising as a valuer in South Africa.

Basil joined the Brisbane office of m3property in 2008 as a Senior Valuer, elevated in 2012 to an Associate Director and in 2014 appointed as a Director.  He is primarily involved in providing the following client service areas:

• Development Feasibility;
• Due Diligence and Pre-acquisition Advisory;
• Rental Advice and Determinations.

Basil prepares valuations and advice for first mortgage security, financing reporting, acquisition and disposal purposes, and also assists tenants and landlords in matters such as rent assessments and disputes.
