Heath is the National Director of Retail and is responsible for the management and co-ordination of Retail Valuations across Australia.

Heath brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from over 15 years in the real estate and valuation industry, specialising in the valuation of shopping centres throughout Australia for major institutional clients, private investors and financiers.

Heath was a former Director of Retail Valuations at Colliers International and Savills prior to joining Lendlease as Capital Transactions Manager, which involved the acquisition and disposing of properties across various Funds. Heath commenced employment with m3property in January 2016.

Simon Hickin

Simon is a Director and manages the Major Assets valuation and Health and Aged Care and Seniors Living teams in Adelaide undertaking valuation and consultancy assignments across a wide range of property sectors.

His experience includes a wide range of CBD office buildings, all forms of retail property including regional shopping centres, specialised manufacturing properties and subdivisional land. Clients include all major banking institutions and financiers, institutions, property trusts, syndicates, corporates and private investors.

Simon has more than 25 years’ experience in valuation and consultancy having spent a major portion of this time completing major investment property valuations and feasibility assignments, particularly within the Adelaide CBD.

Simon spent more than 20 years in the valuation and consultancy division of an international agency firm in Adelaide, as head of valuations in his final years, before joining m3property in 2013.

Shaun O’Sullivan

Shaun is a Director at m3property.  He specialises in valuing and advising on investment grade retail assets throughout Australia.  In particular, his experience ranges from neighbourhood to super regional shopping centres and large format retail centres on behalf of institutional clients, private investors and financial institutions.  Shaun is regularly retained by developers and financiers to provide advice on proposed retail developments. He has been retained to undertake acquisition valuations of shopping centres in all Australian states. Shaun also provides rental advice in relation to market rental levels, proposed lease structures and terms and is appointed to determine rents.

Shaun has a breadth of experience in advising institutional clients and private owners on rating and taxing matters in relation to their portfolios. He has experience in providing expert evidence at VCAT (VIC), The Land Court (QLD) and The Land & Environment Court (NSW).

Shaun became a qualified valuer and was admitted as an Associate of the Australian Property Institute in 1999. He became an Associate Director at m3property in 2006 and a Director in 2012.

Basil Simitci

Basil is a Director in the Queensland office, overseeing the Retail division.  Basil is registered to practice as a valuer within Queensland and is listed as a specialist retail valuer under the Retail Shop Leases Act. Basil prepares valuations and advice for first mortgage security, financial reporting, acquisition and disposal purposes, and assists tenants and landlords in matters such as rental assessments and disputes.

Basil has more than 15 years’ experience, of which 10 years have been in Australia providing valuations and advice on a diverse range of real estate assets and specialised properties. Prior to moving to Australia, Basil was practising as a valuer in South Africa.

Basil commenced employment with m3property in 2008 as a Senior Valuer, was elevated to an Associate Director in 2012 and in 2014 appointed as a Director.
