m3property has specialist retail valuation and consulting experience across Australia. This experience includes the valuation of shopping centres (neighbourhood, sub-regional, regional and super regional centres) in metropolitan and regional areas in all states, bulky goods complexes, showrooms, special retail centres and shops.
We are also regularly involved in rent reviews, advising either landlords or tenants, or receiving instructions to determine retail rent reviews.
m3property is commissioned by landlords and tenants to review statutory assessments undertaken by government authorities for rating and taxing purposes, to prevent excessive statutory outgoings being levied.
In the retail sector, m3property services many of Australia's largest institutional property owners, corporate and financiers.
Valuations are undertaken for due diligence and acquisition, trust reporting, first mortgage security and insurance purposes.

Gordon was admitted as an Associate to what is now the Australian Property Institute in 1984 and was elevated to Fellow status in 1998.
His work history includes Commonwealth Bank of Australia and Richard Ellis (now CBRE) in Perth. Gordon specialises in valuing retail assets and hotel & leisure properties.
In particular his experience ranges from neighbourhood shopping centres to major regional shopping centres and bulky goods centres on behalf of major institutions and trusts. He is also experienced in the valuation of tourism properties, accommodation hotels, pubs and taverns.

Shaun specialises in valuing and advising on investment grade retail assets throughout Australia. In particular his experience ranges from neighbourhood strip shopping centres to super regional shopping centres and bulky goods centres on behalf of major institutions and trusts. He is also regularly retained by developers and large retail operators to provide advice on proposed retail developments.
Shaun became a qualified valuer in 1999. He joined m3property in 2001 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2006.
In addition, Shaun has a breadth of experience in advising major institutions, trusts and private land owners on performance strategy matters in relation to their property portfolios.
In particular Shaun has had involvement in the major asset classes of retail, commercial and industrial across Australia and has a detailed understanding of the legislation and case law affecting the assessment of values for statutory purposes.

Susan is a specialist retail valuer and also undertakes various commercial and industrial property valuations as well as rental assessments including market rental determinations under appointment by the Australian Property Institute.
Responsibilities included the provision of a broad cross section of valuation advice across all property sectors including mortgage security valuations for most of the major financial institutions, valuations for financial reporting purposes, rental valuations and general consultancy advice.
Valuation work has been undertaken for private clients, major lending institutions - both in Adelaide and interstate, trusts, government organisations,
local councils and numerous national corporate organisations.

Andrew has over 19 years experience in property advisory and valuation including 15 years as a qualified valuer.
Andrew's experience is extensive across a range of major investment asset classes including commercial, retail and industrial in New South Wales, Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. Andrew regularly undertakes valuation assignments of major CBD and suburban office buildings, sub regional shopping centres and large scale industrial properties.

Basil joined the Brisbane office of m3property in 2008 as a Senior Valuer and was elevated in 2012 to an Associate Director. His primary focus is shopping centres, bulky goods, retail development sites and rental determinations.
Basil has an excess of 10 years experience within the
property industry and began his career with one of South Africas major Banks, where he was involved in a variety of property finance and valuation tasks
across the commercial, industrial and retail sectors. In
2004, Basil immigrated to Australia.
