Dan has been active in the real estate investment industry since 1985, gaining experience across a broad spectrum of sectors.

He has provided expert advice and direction on major properties and developments around Australia and in North America. More recently he has built a network of clients and contacts in Asia, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia.

Dan has extensive experience in capital markets, structuring and raising debt and equity for owners and developers. His experience includes working with Arthur Andersen in their Corporate Finance Real Estate Group, heading the Real Estate Investment Banking Group for Merrill Lynch and more recently as a Director of m3capital in Australia. Dan has also managed significant property disposals and undertaken due diligence assignments on some of the largest property acquisitions in Australia.

Simon has more than 25 years experience in property valuation and consultancy and over the last 15 years has been extensively involved in the aged care sector. Simon previously spent 20 years with Jones Lang LaSalle being part of its national aged care team before joining the firm in 2013.

Simon has a broad range of experience in the valuation of aged care facilities (going concern) and retirement villages (DMF assessment) for both mortgage security and financial reporting purposes. They include a wide range of property sizes and types including project related valuations for proposed developments using feasibility modelling, large mixed use aged care sites that comprise residential aged care, resident funded and/or entry contribution/rental housing.

Simon is an aged care specialist panel valuer for most of the major banks and has undertaken work for a range of clients including corporates, not for profit groups, institutions and privates.

Ross Perkins

Ross has been involved in the property industry since 1983, having gained experience across all market sectors in Queensland and Sydney.

Prior to joining m3property, he was part of a boutique consultancy group providing valuation, feasibility, investment analysis and due diligence services to a variety of developers, trusts, banks and investors within South-East Queensland and Victoria.

Ross previously worked for a private investment trust, where his role was to put together a portfolio of investment properties including commercial buildings in New South Wales and Queensland.

Whilst an Executive Director on the board of a listed property valuation company, Ross gained experience in corporate governance and capital raising during the float of the company on the Australian Stock Exchange.  He was then Managing State Director of the Queensland division of the company, a position which he held for about ten years, during which time he focused on the office and industrial precincts.

Ross is also experienced in valuing self storage facilities throughout Australia, service stations, child care centres, accommodation hotels, marinas, golf courses and retail properties.
