m3property are seeking applicants for an Assistant Valuer / Valuer position suitable for a graduate or Valuer with 1 –  2 years’ experience. You will join our expanding specialist Residential Development Valuations team, based in our Sydney office.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside our Director based in Sydney and our wider national commercial team within our interstate offices. You will contribute to providing valuation and advice to our Institutional, Financiers, Corporate and Private Clients throughout Australia.

This position requires an individual with strong numerical and analysis skills, a thorough understanding of valuation fundamentals, enthusiasm to learn and join a team, recognised as industry leaders within their specialised field.

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Valuation;
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred);
  • Academic transcript that demonstrates strong results within core Valuation subjects.

Assistant Valuer – Health, Aged Care and Seniors Living – Melbourne

Graduate Program – Melbourne

m3property offers a yearly Graduate Program targeted at third or final year students or recent graduates of a property related University degree looking to gain practical experience in a professional setting.

The structure of the program is based on a rotation program of approximately 6-8 weeks in each of our business units, for approximately 10 months.

Requirements

  • Be enrolled or have just successfully completed a recognised property related University Degree.
  • Have excellent communication and computer skills.
  • You would need to be available to start in February 2019 and be able to work a minimum of 22.8 hours to a maximum of 38 hours per week.
  • Attention to detail and logical approach to problem solving.
  • Excellent report writing skills.

Remuneration

An agreed salary plus at the successful completion of the program the successful candidate will be paid a $5,000 bonus.

m3property are seeking applicants for a Valuer position suitable with two to three years’ experience. You will join our specialist Residential Development Valuations team, based in our Melbourne office.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside a Director and our wider residential development team. You will contribute to providing valuation and advice to our Institutional, Financiers and Private Clients in Victoria.  You will gain experience in the land subdivision market and built form markets.

This position requires an individual with strong numerical and analysis skills, a thorough understanding of valuation fundamentals and enthusiasm to learn and join a team who is recognised within the industry in their specialised field.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Attend property inspections and client meetings;
  • Undertake online title and town planning searches;
  • Review of proposed projects including development costs and presale information;
  • Research and analyse sales transactions;
  • Liaise with sales agents and collection of Investment Memorandums;
  • Maintain sales database;
  • Undertake financial analysis and cash flow modelling;
  • Compilation of valuation reports and client presentations; and
  • Providing support to other team members in servicing client requirements as required.

Competencies specific to this role include:

  • Basic understanding of statutory and planning provisions relating to valuation;
  • Strong communication and writing skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • A willingness to learn and follow instructions;
  • Ability to work independently or within a team;
  • High degree of self-motivation and an ability to work within timeframes;
  • Ability to multi-task;
  • Possess an ability to make informed decisions;

Qualifications and experience required:

  • Tertiary qualification in Valuation – postgraduate level;
  • Proven skills in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred);
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Estate Master; and
  • Previous valuation experience.
