The commercial team prepare valuations and provide property advice for office buildings in all capital city CBDs, metropolitan business parks and commercial hubs.

We principally service the institutional and funds management sector (both local and off shore), financiers, corporations, private investors and the government sector.

The commercial team is regularly involved in property acquisition, preparing independent due diligence, pre acquisition advice and valuations for purchasers and their financiers.

Andrew Duguid

Andrew is the Managing Director of m3property NSW and also manages the NSW Commercial team.  He is responsible for valuation and consulting tasks involving office assets within the Sydney CBD and metropolitan markets.  Typical assignments include valuations for commercial buildings for asset reporting, mortgage security (existing and development), rental assessments and determinations.  He also provides advice in respect of matters influencing property values including lease structuring, land tax and statutory valuation issues.

Over the course of his career, Andrew has worked across a range of asset classes including commercial, retail and industrial, undertaking valuations and advising clients on assets including CBD and metropolitan office buildings, regional, sub-regional and neighbourhood shopping centres, car parks and industrial buildings.

Andrew commenced his career in 1991 and became qualified as a valuer and admitted as an Associate of the Australian Property Institute in 1994.  Andrew commenced employment with m3property in April 2002.

Gary Longden

Gary is the Director of the Commercial and Industrial team. Gary primarily undertakes valuations of investment properties, more particularly CBD commercial buildings, along with major industrial and infrastructure properties. Gary also has specialist national valuation experience with international and domestic airports, intermodal port terminals and car park investment properties.

Gary works extensively with Asset Managers, Fund Managers, CFO’s and Executive Directors who value his commitment to the professional outcomes they seek.

Gary has over 30 years’ experience in valuation assignments in respect of commercial and industrial properties.

Gary commenced employment with m3property in 2012.

Simon Hickin

Simon is a Director and manages the Major Assets valuation and Health and Aged Care and Seniors Living teams in Adelaide undertaking valuation and consultancy assignments across a wide range of property sectors.

His experience includes a wide range of CBD office buildings, all forms of retail property including regional shopping centres, specialised manufacturing properties and subdivisional land. Clients include all major banking institutions and financiers, institutions, property trusts, syndicates, corporates and private investors.

Simon has more than 25 years’ experience in valuation and consultancy having spent a major portion of this time completing major investment property valuations and feasibility assignments, particularly within the Adelaide CBD.

Simon spent more than 20 years in the valuation and consultancy division of an international agency firm in Adelaide, as head of valuations in his final years, before joining m3property in 2013.

Michael Coverdale

Michael is an Associate Director in Queensland, working within the Commercial team. Michael’s primary roles at the company are providing market-based advisory and preparing valuations for a diverse range of freehold and leasehold assets and specialised properties.

Michael is registered to practice as a valuer within Queensland. He specialises in providing advisory and valuations for office buildings in the Brisbane CBD and suburban/regional markets for a wide variety of clients in mortgage, finance, government and private sectors. Over Michael’s career, he has gathered diverse experience encompassing valuation work in office, retail and industrial assets, englobo land and development feasibilities, rental assessments, family law, resumption and compensation assessments, due diligence and pre-acquisition/disposal advisory.

Michael has been a property professional (valuation) in Brisbane for over 10 years.

Michael commenced employment with m3property in June 2015.
